About us
Being a four-floor building, the
PORZELLANEUM offers room for 174 students, who live in
single or double rooms. All rooms are fully furnished and
include washing facilities. Moreover, there are recently
refurbished lavatories and showers on every floor.
As the PORZELLANEUM is located in the
centre of Vienna, all universities, especially the main
building of the Vienna University, the University of
Economics and Business Administration and the Faculty of Law
are close-by. Solely the University of Veterinary Medicine
on the outskirts of Vienna is not situated in the immediate
neighbourhood. Besides, the PORZELLANEUM also provides the
ideal starting point for all non-university activities.
In addition, we offer the following
facilities:
TV rooms, library, music room, bicycle
storage room, party room, self-service laundry with
coin-operated washing machines and tumble dryers, a small
gym, a computer room with eight workstations. There is WLAN
access in the entire building.
Internet use is EUR 20 per semester.
In addition to the rent, all students
have to pay EUR 2/ month for damage of unknown origin. At
the start of the contract two rentals have to be paid.
